studied at Delta State University before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi. She received continuing education in Cosmetic Dentistry and Practice Management at the William C. Strupp Postgraduate School of Dentistry, Las Vegas Institute & the Louisiana Cosmetic Continuum. She practiced general dentistry with her father in Mississippi for six years and served as an Instructor for the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. In 2010, she received her fellowship in dental oral conscious sedation – making her the first to do so in Middle Tennessee.
Dr. Missy has trained in a wide variety of dental areas. Including: implants, root canal therapy, cosmetics, crowns and bridges, and digital radiography. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Tennessee Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Downtown Franklin Merchants Association, the Nashville Dental Association, Pinnacle Study Club of Nashville, a former member of the Cool Springs Rotary, a former member of the Franklin Breakfast Rotary, the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, and has volunteered with Interfaith Dental Clinics.

studied at Delta State University and the University of Mississippi before completing his Bachelors of Science degree at Mississippi State University. Dr. Taylor received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry graduating with honors and where he later was an inaugural member of the Second Century Society. He has completed curriculum from The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, studying under Dr. Pankey himself. Other courses include the Louisiana Cosmetic Continuum and The Las Vegas Institute (LVI). Dr. Taylor brings, to our team, years of experience running and maintaining his own practice.
Dr. Taylor has completed rigorous training in all areas of dentistry. Some of the topics include: implant placement and restoration, conservative cosmetic restorations, periodontal non-surgical therapy, whitening, denture/partial appliances, and laser dentistry. He has studied with Biolase in the detection of dental cavities, preparation of teeth, and surgical procedures that can be more comfortably completed using lasers. He has also been involved with digital x-ray technology for over ten years. Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Dental Association, The Tennessee Dental Association, Pinnacle Study Club of Nashville, The Tennessee Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Mississippi Dental Association, as well as the Northwest Mississippi Dental Society. He served as president and later trustee of his local Mississippi Dental Society and is an instructor for the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.
Dr. Taylor and his beautiful wife, Beverly, love to travel, enjoy movies, and their puppies. He is the father of two children: Dr. Melissa Taylor Burton and James Robert Taylor, III. |
